Before you start looking for a hotel in Miami, you need to know that Miami is huge. Hence, you need to decide what is your priority: price or location. If you are in Miami only for the weekend, you will probably want to stay on South Beach (SoBe) neighborhood where the prices are steeper than in the mainland city of Miami. On the other hand, hotels in Downtown Miami also don’t come cheap, especially in times of events like important NBA basketball game, concert or exhibition. Luckily, Miami offers good public transport options, so if you don’t want to spend a fortune for a decent mid-range hotel, search for hotels within a few miles range. One of very good choices is Vagabond Hotel Miami. We stayed there for 4 days in February 2020.

Where to stay in Cape Town if you have 5 days to spend in this gorgeous city? I was struggling with this question for quite a while. I didn’t want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the city center and I didn’t want to stay too far from all the sightseeing spots that were on our bucket list. So, according to the map Hout Bay seemed as the obvious choice. There are quite a few good rated accommodations in Hout Bay so it was quite a challenge to decide which one to pick. Hout & About Guest House had perfect reviews of the rooms, as well as breakfast, which is very important in my survival book. We gave it a shot and we fell in love instantly.

Potovanje po ZDA – Od Yellowstona do Las Vegasa (2. del)

V nadaljevanju sledi še druga polovica najinega roadtripa po Ameriki (če ste prvo polovico izpustili, jo najdete tukaj). Morda na tem mestu še enkrat poziv k branju »nasvetov za začetnike« in pa splošen namig, da se za potovanje po ameriških parkih splača kupiti celoletno vstopnico – stane 80 USD, lahko pa kupite tudi rabljeno, če ima še en prost podpis. Jaz jo zaenkrat še imam na voljo, velja do aprila 2020. 😉 Spodaj navedene vstopnine pa veljajo za avto, ne glede na število oseb v njem. Takole je torej potekal najin drugi, še malce bolj adrenalinski teden potovanja.
