Since hiking is one of my favorite addictions, I’ll simply start with: Hi, I am Anda. Hiking beginners, consider yourself warned. 😉 However, despite its growing popularity, hiking is not something to be taken lightly. Sooner or later you’ll find yourself either lost, thursty, cold, wet or in the dark. And believe me, at one point it won’t be fun. In the past years I’ve learned that only safe and responsible hiking allows you to enjoy the journey and the rewarding views at the top. Don’t repeat my rookie mistakes and read the most important hiking tips for beginners, including basic equipment and clothes.

When it comes to New Year’s resolutions, most of people aim to lose weight, quit smoking, do more exercise … or something else, mostly health-related. Well, I have been a good girl for years now and I am well aware that healthy lifestyle is a journey, not just something you promise to yourself (and usually fail) every year 😉 Instead of making resolutions, I decided to come up with a bucket list of 7 destinations I want to visit and 7 activities I want to do in the next 7 years. I have visited 4 continents, 50 countries and 20 states in the past 15 years. Not bad for someone who only has 24 days off work per year, right? Well, there is simply not enough time to see everything (as I say in my Instagram bio: “someone has to pay the bills”), and some places are so wonderful that I just HAVE TO keep coming back. After all, you are here to get some new travel tips, right? 😉 So, my travel favorites are … 1. MY […]
Whether I am traveling on business or for pleasure, my biggest challenge is to find the perfect combination of the price and time to reach my final destination. Because time is money and wasted time is the most expensive. Therefore, I always carefully check the details of my connecting flights and I am ready to pay some extra money to make the layover shorter. Unfortunately, that is not always possible – either there are no alternative options or the price for the shorter transfer time is ridiculously high. So, there I am, stuck at the airport, sitting in that uncomfortable chair, drinking that awful coffee and counting the minutes that I have left until my free Wi-Fi session expires … […]

My moto is: “You only have one life. Don’t waste it by doing things you don’t like.” Actually this is just one of my mottos, but for my “upside down” chapter it will do just fine. Now let me tell you what I am trying to show with my handstands every place I go.
