I »e-met« Sandra Šuc on Instagram about two years ago through her Alpine Princess brand. At that time, she had just started to promote her first line of outdoor leggings and she asked me if I wanted to test them. And the rest is history. I have been following Alpine Princess story on instagram ever since and I am happy to see it grow so fast. Both, me and Sandra were born and raised in Slovenia and this is one of the reasons I decided to support her in the first place. However, my love for the brand has surpassed the “patriotism” motive long ago. With no doubt in my mind I can say that Alpine Princess leggings are amongst […]
Vacation in Maldives during Covid-19 pandemics
Shortly after having posted a photo from Maldives on my Instagram profile, I got hundreds of messages from friends and followers. The questions were pretty much the same: “Are you really in Maldives? Where did you fly from? Can you travel to Maldives during Covid-19 pandemics? Did you have any problems on the way?” Followed by typical questions about Maldives vacation: “Which island are you on? How much did you pay?” Since this was a well-deserved yet short winter escape, I didn’t want to spend my week answering all the questions. Hence my response: “After I return, I will write a blog post and tell you everything you need to know.”

Countries without travel restrictions during Covid-19 pandemics
Sick and tired of quarantine? Well, who isn’t? We have been more or less stuck at our homes since March 2020. Can you imagine how this must feel to a travel addict like me? *desperate sigh and nose wipe* If you are anything like me, you are already making travel plans for 2021 and counting the days when we’ll be free to travel again. However, did you know that a few countries are already completely open for tourism? Meaning, there are countries without travel restrictions or entry requirements due to Covid-19, like mandatory quarantine and PCR tests for tourists?
Top 5 things to do in Senja island, Norway
I bet that over 90% of the people who want to visit Norway, don’t know anything about Senja. I was one of them as well, until I read a few blogs about Lofoten, mostly from local people. All of them had one thing in common: Senja is just as beautiful as Lofoten but far less crowded. If you want to have a perfect trip to Northern Norway, Senja island is not to be missed. On one hand it might not take too much of your time (you can always just pass by and make a few stopovers). But on the other hand you just might fall in love with it and want to come back. Like we did. In this […]

Top things to do in Tromso, Norway
Whether you are traveling to northern Norway to see the Lofoten islands or Europe’s northernmost point Nordkapp, you will most likely end up in or pass by Tromso. With its location (over 300 km North of the Arctic Circle), relatively mild stable weather and good connections, Tromso is also one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights. The city stands on the island of Tromsoya and it is connected to the mainland by Tromso Bridge and Tromsoysund tunnel. The position on the island, surrounded by sea, fjords and hills, together with its cozy downtown atmosphere, make Tromso an attractive stopover. We spent 2 days in this “Arctic capital of Norway” during our northern Norway road […]
