Hiter pregled poka\u017ee, da ve\u010dina izdelkov s sladili vsebuje prav aspartam ali npr. sukralozo. Kaj nam je torej storiti? So sladila res nevarna za u\u017eivanje?\u00a0<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Kaj so sladila? <\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Poenostavljeno, sladila so <strong>snovi sladkega okusa<\/strong>, ki se uporabljajo za <strong>nadome\u0161\u010danje namiznega sladkorja (saharoze)<\/strong>. Le-ta ima namre\u010d visoko energijsko vrednost, visok glikemi\u010dni indeks in sodeluje v procesih nastanka metabolnega sindroma*. Nekatera sladila prispevajo tudi k <strong>ohranjanju mineralizacije zob<\/strong> in lahko zmanj\u0161ujejo tveganje za razvoj kariesa. V osnovi so torej sladila lahko koristna, a le, \u010de u\u017eivamo<strong> &#8220;prava&#8221; sladila v omejenih koli\u010dinah<\/strong>. Hudi\u010d je torej, kot vedno, v podrobnostih.<\/p>\n<p><em>*Metabolni sindrom je skupek presnovnih dejavnikov, ki pove\u010dujejo tveganje za sladkorno bolezen in sr\u010dno\u2013\u017eilne bolezni. Je neposredno povezan z debelostjo, sede\u010dim na\u010dinom \u017eivljenja in inzulinsko rezistenco (=odpornost na inzulin, ki med drugim lahko nastane, \u010de dalj \u010dasa jemo nezdravo hrano z visokim glikemi\u010dnim indeksom)<\/em><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Kje ti\u010di hudi\u010d?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Sladila so v osnovi namenjena nadome\u0161\u010danju sladkorja, a ljudje si radi kompliciramo \u017eivljenje. Namesto, da bi z uporabo sladil zni\u017eali vnos kalorij, jih smatramo kot &#8220;odpustek&#8221;, da (lahko) pojemo ve\u010d druge hrane. Skratka, ni problem v samih sladilih, problem je v ljudeh, ki smo nagnjeni k <strong>pretiravanju<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Na podlagi omejenih dokazov Svetovna zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) po novem <strong>odsvetuje uporabo intenzivnih sladil<\/strong> za nadzor telesne mase, saj lahko njihova dolgotrajna uporaba <strong>pove\u010da tveganje<\/strong> za sladkorno bolezen tipa 2, sr\u010dno-\u017eilne bolezni in splo\u0161no umrljivost.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Sporna so intenzivna sladila<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Za potrebe razumevanja najnovej\u0161ih priporo\u010dil WHO se osredoto\u010dimo na razlikovanje sladil glede na sladilno mo\u010d. Lo\u010dimo jih na:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sladila, ki imajo <strong>podobno sladilno mo\u010d<\/strong> kot namizni sladkor oz. saharoza<\/li>\n<li>Intenzivna sladila, ki so tudi do <strong>13.000-krat slaj\u0161a<\/strong> od saharoze. WHO odsvetuje le slednja.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h6><strong>Kaj so intenzivna sladila?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Intenzivna sladila so ve\u010dinoma pridobljena <strong>industrijsko (sintezno)<\/strong>, zato jim pogosto re\u010demo <strong>umetna sladila.<\/strong> A mednje sodijo npr. tudi steviol glikozidi, katerih vir so rastline, zato to poimenovanje ni povsem to\u010dno. Sladila so v <strong>hrani, pija\u010di, prehranskih dodatkih<\/strong> (predvsem prahovi, npr. kolagen, magnezij), <strong>\u010digumijih,<\/strong> celo v <strong>jogurtih<\/strong> in \u0161e marsikje. Ve\u010dina omenjenih izdelkov vsebuje <strong>intenzivna<\/strong>, torej s strani WHO odsvetovana sladila. Preprosto zato, ker so cenej\u0161a.<\/p>\n<p>Najpogosteje uporabljena intenzivna sladila so:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Acesulfam K<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Aspartam<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ciklamati<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Saharini<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Steviol glikozidi (stevia in derivati)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sukraloza<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Advantam<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Neotam<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Aspartam \u2013 potencialno rakotvorno sladilo<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>WHO je \u0161la pred kratkim \u0161e korak dlje in med intenzivnimi sladili <strong>ASPARTAM<\/strong> uvrstila na seznam <strong>mo\u017enih rakotvornih snovi<\/strong>. Pri tem poudarja, da ob ne pretiranem vnosu aspartam ni \u0161kodljiv, verjetnost za prekora\u010ditev pa je ve\u010dja pri ljudeh, ki <strong>pogosto in v ve\u010djih koli\u010dinah<\/strong> u\u017eivajo \u017eivila z aspartamom, ali pa ga uporabljajo namesto sladkorja.<\/p>\n<p>Trenutno koli\u010dina, ki se smatra kot varna, ostaja 40 mg aspartama na kg telesne mase na dan. Pri 60 kg te\u017ekem \u010dloveku to zna\u0161a <strong>2400 mg aspartama dnevno<\/strong>. Tak\u0161no koli\u010dino bi zau\u017eili npr. z 8 \u2013 12 plo\u010devinkami brezalkoholne pija\u010de z visoko vsebnostjo aspartama. Ker navajanje vsebnosti sladil na \u017eivilih ni obvezno, povpre\u010dno informiran potro\u0161nik te\u017eko izra\u010duna, koliko katerega sladila je pojedel ali popil z raznimi pripravki.<strong> In v tem grmu ti\u010di zajec za vsa intenzivna sladila<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Zakaj podjetja ne ukrepajo?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>O <strong>aspartamu<\/strong> sem sama sli\u0161ala veliko slabega \u0161e preden sem se za\u010dela ukvarjati s prehranskimi dopolnili. A \u017eal \u010dlovek to s\u010dasoma malce pozabi, hkrati pa &#8211; roko na srce, kdo od nas dejansko preverja sestavine \u010disto vsakega izdelka, ki ga zau\u017eijemo? Sploh, \u010de gre za priznane znamke, kot so <strong>Coca Cola, Airwaves<\/strong> in razne znamke \u0161portne prehrane? Naivno priznam, da sem vsaj za Airwaves \u010digumije upala, da bazirajo na ksilitolu, ki je varno sladilo. Boy, I was wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Zakaj vsaj ve\u010dja podjetja, ki imajo dostop do informacij (nenazadnje se o spornosti aspartama govori \u017ee leta), le-tega ne zamenjajo z bolj\u0161imi sladili? Odgovor je preprost: <strong>ker so intenzivna sladila bistveno cenej\u0161a. <\/strong>Hkrati pa so za sladek okus potrebne neprimerno manj\u0161e koli\u010dine kot npr. pri poliolih (ksilitol ali sorbitol) &#8211; kar je zaradi omejitve vnosa (npr. &#8220;direkt&#8221; pra\u0161ki) lahko kar velika ovira. Vse za potro\u0161nika, torej.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Kaj pa zdaj?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Ob nedavni objavi v zvezi s priporo\u010dili WHO glede sladil je verjetno nastala <strong>mini panika<\/strong> v ve\u010dini izmed nas. Tudi sama sem \u0161la mrzli\u010dno brati sestavine na dolo\u010denih izdelkih, ki so se mi \u017ee prej zdeli mejni. Govorim predvsem o <strong>proteinskih in &#8220;recharge&#8221; dodatkih<\/strong>, ki jih zaradi \u017eivljenjskega stila (veliko \u0161portanja) prakti\u010dno moram* u\u017eivati. A realnost je taka, da je treba v \u017eivljenju sprejemati kompromise.<\/p>\n<p>Olaj\u0161evalna okoli\u0161\u010dina je, da nobeno od intenzivnih sladil <strong>ni izrecno prepovedano<\/strong>, hkrati pa so dolo\u010dene zgornje meje vsebnosti le-teh v \u017eivilih. Poenostavljeno povedano: <strong>v normalnih razmerah<\/strong> vsebnost intenzivnih sladil v \u017eivilu ne sme presegati dovoljene meje in s tega vidika smo <strong>kolikor toliko na varnem podro\u010dju<\/strong>. Te\u017eava nastane ob rednem dnevnem u\u017eivanju izdelkov z intenzivnimi sladili na dolgi rok.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Alternative: dobra sladila in izdelki brez sladil<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Kot sem \u017ee omenila, WHO odsvetuje le uporabo intenzivnih sladil, k sre\u010di pa kot nadomestek sladkorja obstajajo tudi <strong>&#8220;prijazna&#8221; sladila.<\/strong> Seznam sladil, za katere WHO nima negativnega mnenja, sicer ni dolg, a vseeno daje upanje. Nesporna sladila so: <strong>KSILITOL, SORBITOL, ERITRITOL, MALTITOL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Problem je v tem, da so ta sladila <strong>precej dra\u017eja<\/strong>, zato jih v izdelkih, kjer proizvajalci tekmujejo z ni\u017ejimi cenami, skoraj ne boste na\u0161li. Medtem, ko imate pri prehranskih dopolnilih veliko izbiro* in ni potrebe, da bi kupovali izdelke z intenzivnimi sladili, je <strong>pri \u0161portni prehrani oz. dodatkih to mnogo te\u017eje<\/strong>. \u010ce se ho\u010demo izogniti sladkorju (ali &#8220;moderneje&#8221; glukozno-fruktoznemu sirupu), prakti\u010dno nimamo izbire. Pregledala sem na desetine ponudnikov in alternative nisem na\u0161la.<\/p>\n<p><em>*Slovenski proizvajalec <a href=\"https:\/\/valens.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valens<\/a> npr. ponuja varna prehranska dopolnila s ksilitolom, z minimalno vsebnostjo sladkorja in pa tudi prehranska dopolnila brez sladil.<\/em><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Pamet v roke<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>S to objavo vas nisem \u017eelela prestra\u0161iti, saj nenazadnje tudi WHO nima dovolj trdnih dokazov, da bi intenzivna sladila uradno prepovedala. A vsekakor <strong>previdnost ni odve\u010d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Moj nasvet je preprost: Berite sestavine in kupujte \u010dim manj izdelkov z intenzivnimi sladili.<\/strong> Sestavine morajo biti navedene na embala\u017ei izdelka, pri \u010demer so vedno v padajo\u010dem vrstnem redu. Sestavina z najve\u010djo vsebnostjo je na prvem mestu, tista z najmanj\u0161o koli\u010dino pa na zadnjem. Tudi vrstni red torej \u0161teje.<\/p>\n<p>Kadar je to nemogo\u010de (npr. v primeru proteinskih plo\u0161\u010dic in \u010digumijev, ki mene najbolj jezijo), <strong>omejite dnevni vnos in si jih privo\u0161\u010dite manj pogosto<\/strong>. Ne bom vam rekla, da jih opustite, ker bi bilo to nesmiselno in prakti\u010dno nemogo\u010de.
