This September we decided to make a long weekend escape from Slovenia, combining some outdoor activities (hiking and bicycling) and catching some vitamin D on the beach. The primary goal was to be located on the beach and close to Biokovo National Park, which was the starting point for the bicycle tour. While I was hesitating between a rich offer of cheaper private apartments and rooms (September is not that crowded anymore), I rather chose a hotel in Tu\u010depi with a higher standard of comfort and fantastic location. Here is my review of Bluesun hotel Afrodita.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class='adkingprobanneradsense sidebar banner344' rel='344'><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\"\r\n     data-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6150236094919176\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"1398083402\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div><script type='text\/javascript'>ga('send', 'event', '', 'Impression', '');<\/script>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Location<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Bluesun hotel Afrodita is a <strong>4-star hotel<\/strong>, located in the <strong>town of Tu\u010depi<\/strong>, less than 10 km from Makarska town. The hotel is quite easy to find and has a private controlled entrance ramp, so you can <strong>park your car safely and free of charge<\/strong> (at least that was the case in September). The complex is located just a few meters from the beach, however the beach itself is separated with a nice promenade.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>The hotel<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The complex comprises of the <strong>main building<\/strong> with a very nice and spacious <strong>reception, lounge bar and a restaurant <\/strong>(indoor and outdoor), and a few <strong>rows of bungalows<\/strong>, some of them facing the sea side The bungalows are connected with the stone paths, surrounded by trees and green bushes. There is a large <strong>swimming pool<\/strong> in front of the hotel with a gorgeous view of <strong>Biokovo mountain<\/strong>. Sunbeds and towels are provided for hotel guests free of charge.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2277\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bluesun-resort-afrodita-hotel-review-blog-1024x721.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"690\" height=\"486\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bluesun-resort-afrodita-hotel-review-blog-1024x721.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bluesun-resort-afrodita-hotel-review-blog-300x211.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bluesun-resort-afrodita-hotel-review-blog-768x541.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bluesun-resort-afrodita-hotel-review-blog-690x486.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bluesun-resort-afrodita-hotel-review-blog-369x260.jpg 369w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/bluesun-resort-afrodita-hotel-review-blog.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>The rooms<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Bluesun hotel Afrodita has around <strong>150 rooms of different types<\/strong> (standard, superior, junior suites, family rooms), but I would rather call them bungalows, as they have separate entrances. At least ours, which was facing the sea, had one. The room was spacious and the <strong>sleeping area<\/strong> was separated from the <strong>sofa and TV corner <\/strong>by two stairs which made the room very comfortable. The <strong>bathroom<\/strong> was a bit small, but had everything we needed. The <strong>balcony<\/strong> facing the seaside is very private, surrounded by walls and you can also close the windows from the outside so no one can see you. The seaside view was not that spectacular though \u2013 probably higher floors (maybe in family rooms or junior suites) are better off here.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2278\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/tucepi-hotel-afrodita-bluesun-review-blog-beach-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"690\" height=\"462\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/tucepi-hotel-afrodita-bluesun-review-blog-beach-1024x685.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/tucepi-hotel-afrodita-bluesun-review-blog-beach-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/tucepi-hotel-afrodita-bluesun-review-blog-beach-768x513.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/tucepi-hotel-afrodita-bluesun-review-blog-beach-690x461.jpg 690w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/tucepi-hotel-afrodita-bluesun-review-blog-beach-389x260.jpg 389w, https:\/\/www.travelwithanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/tucepi-hotel-afrodita-bluesun-review-blog-beach.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>The beach<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The hotel is located on the beautiful 4-kilometers long <strong>Slatina beach<\/strong>. The sandy beach with crystal clear emerald color of Adriatic Sea has a <strong>blue flag<\/strong> which means it is really clean, safe and suitable for all types of swimmers. It has a lot of <strong>natural shade from pine trees<\/strong>, a shower and dressing spaces. Unfortunately, there are no free sunbeds for hotel guests, which is a bit awkward, considering the amount of money you pay, but this is Croatia.<em>\u00a0<\/em>Overall <strong>beach experience in September<\/strong> (again, there were no crowds) was fantastic all the way from the morning swim till the romantic sunset in the evening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anda\u2019s rate: 9 from 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Bottom line:<\/em><\/strong> Bluesun hotel Afrodita is a very nice pet-friendly hotel in Tu\u010depi, with a perfect location, fantastic beach and really good services (breakfast and dinner were also very rich). Pet fee is 75 \u20ac per stay, which is very pricey if you only come for a day or two. I would say the hotel it is suitable for both, families and couples and one could easily spend a week or even more there.
